Who better to help than an association that promotes the education and profile of oncology nurses? Cancer affects one in two men and one in two women. Everyone knows someone who has been affected. When Ana Torres of Malachite Management asked us if we could replace her website, we jumped at the chance.

The CANO website (www.cano-acio.org) was built with specialize software that links to the IMIS's Association Management Software. IMIS is built by Advanced Solutions International. It is an exhaustively comprehensive and widely adapted software tool for large associations. The enhancements made by Pencilneck to the IMIS platform are the only one of their kind. One breakthrough feature is the customized online file management system that allows members to share files privately and with user-specified permission levels. We called it the "virtual boardroom."

This on-time, on-budget, software project helped CANO re-brand and turn itself around, under the careful guidance of Ana Torres. We are proud to contribute and very glad to do our part, albeit indirect, towards the fight against cancer, and towards the advancement of those who dedicate their lives to a strikingly worthy cause.
