College of Dental Surgeons Site Launched

With over 9,000 members across BC, the College of Dental Surgeons (CDS) of British Columbia are the licensing association for dentists across the province. With the design and direction of the accomplished staff at Karyo Edelman, the College of Dental Surgeons have launched this massive website aimed to represent the purpose and goals of the CDS.
A custom software application was used to connect the CDS dentist database to the website in order for the public to look up dentist in their area. A separate database system for professional education credits was also connected to the system. By consolidating these systems with the website management system, the task of membership operations has become much more manageable. The cost effective solution provided has allowed the tremendous organizational qualities of the CDS to be showcased to its members and the public.
More often associations must work harder to inform their members about the services provided and the advantage of membership. Providing online tools and timely information about their association helps to encourage membership participation.
