BCCGI Maintains it's No. 1 Rank
Custom Software was the missing piece!
MARCH 1 2007
Graham Barnes, the president of the most successful small business employee insurance provider in BC, presented Pencilneck Software with a unique problem. He needed a web marketing strategy and his organization at the national level could provide little or no assistance. After meeting with Mr. Barnes, the team at Pencilneck realized that the strongest and most important asset to emphasize on the web site was not the unparalleled product he was offering. It wasn't his companies accomplishment of being the top employee insurance provider for companies of 1-50 people. It was his personable, knowledgeable and reliable sales people.
When this was realized, Pencilneck hired a designer to create a design that helped emphasize this strength. They then proceeded to build a postal code powered searching system that connects any web visitor with their geographically nearest Sales Representative. Once they are connected with the sales representative, their contact information, unique sales opportunity, call to action and even their photo are provided. Mr. Barnes reviews the statistics that the Pencilneck CMS provides in order to further encourage and lead his team.
Nearly a year after
www.bcbenefitplans.com launched, the national team respectfully imitated the strategy and even the design as seen on the web site www.chamber.ca. Nearly as feature filled, the national web site is a great start to the marketing strategy started at Pencilneck.
The BC Chamber Group Insurance Plan (BCCGI) web site uses the
Pencilneck CMS, Professional Edition with a 'postal code search' software enhancement. The BCCGI are serious about increasing their web traffic and have subscribed to the Pencilneck Search Engine Bootcamp.
